Video & Motion Graphics Editor

We are looking for a creative and experienced Video & Motion Graphics Editor with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to join our creative team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing, motion graphics, visual storytelling, and design. Along with executing briefs, you should be able to think independently, ideate concepts, and take ownership of a project from start to finish.

You should be comfortable working across different types of content and be willing to explore new creative approaches, including the use of AI tools for image and video generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce high-quality videos for digital, social media, corporate, marketing, and other communication requirements.
• Create engaging motion graphics, animations, transitions, typography, and visual effects.
• Understand a brief and independently develop creative approaches and visual concepts.
• Take ownership of projects from concept development to final delivery.
• Work with provided footage, graphics, images, scripts, voiceovers, and other assets to create polished videos.
• Develop creative solutions when a brief is open-ended or requires ideation.
• Ensure videos follow the required brand guidelines, visual language, formats, and platform specifications.
• Create and adapt content into different formats and aspect ratios as required.
• Work with the design and creative teams to develop visual assets that complement video content.
• Explore and incorporate AI-based image and video generation tools into the creative workflow.
• Stay updated with current video, motion design, editing, AI, and visual content trends.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Review and implement feedback efficiently and make necessary revisions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in video editing and motion graphics.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly:
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Strong understanding of motion graphics, animation, transitions, typography, composition, colour, and visual hierarchy.
• Good understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, frame rates, aspect ratios, and delivery requirements.
• Working knowledge of AI tools for image and video generation.
• Ability to use AI tools creatively to enhance ideation, production, and post-production workflows.
• Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
• Ability to ideate and develop a creative direction without requiring step-by-step instructions.
• Good understanding of storytelling and pacing.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Animation, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Film, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred. Relevant professional experience and a strong portfolio can be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Portfolio:
A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating video editing, motion graphics, animation, visual effects, and creative ideation is required.
